On March 12, 2010 Acadia University is hosting a one-time only event for anyone and everyone who would like to experience everything Acadia has to offer. This is not your traditional university event, and space is limited, so sign up early!

The Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation (NSGF) is pleased to announce its new2010 Student Scholarship Essay Contest for graduating Nova Scotia high school students.

The top three essayists will receive scholarships towards their
post-secondary education: $2,000.00 for 1st place, $1,000.00 for 2nd
place and $500.00 for 3rd place.

This 10 day camp is for students interested in accepting and meeting a challenge. It is an opportunity for young people to grow as potential leaders. In order to be selected each student must have completed Grade 10 or 11.

The Drama Club will be holding a brunch on Sunday February 28th from 9-12 at the Kennetcook Fire Hall. Cost is $5 per person and preschoolers are only $3 each. Norbert Kungl will be speaking at 10:30 a.m. on the benefits of buying locally.

Congratulations to Bob Bond, winner of the golf package for four to Fox Harb'r Resort. The Drama club raised over $6000 on this raffle.
